“Anga Afrika was exactly as described in the listing. A beautiful and serene enclave within the bustling city. The grounds were lush and clearly well taken care of. Both bedroom buildings were peaceful and had everything we needed-including hot water bottles for the beds at night The private hot tub was a treat at the end of the day- we even found a three horned chameleon walking on the fence behind the hot tub. We swam in the pool, relaxed in the living room and on the porch and had a quick game of pickleball. Would recommend”

Spectacular stay in a suburban jungle paradise - we will be back!

“This accommodation was spectacular, and so much better than the pictures! The rooms were large and spacious with a writing desk, double basin bathroom, shower and toilet. A separate dining, kitchen and lounge area was located between the two units which had all the amenities. The pool was as advertised, and my one regret is that we didn't get a chance to swim (due to weather and pre-booked activities) - the pool area was really lovely. Location was central for all our activities in Karen and it was very easy to get around via Uber. Lastly, I need to commend the staff for being so friendly and super helpful. Check in was a breeze, questions were answered promptly and everyone was just lovely.”

A true jungle oasis that provided me the calm and peace I needed - away from the city hustle and bustle. The staff at Sidney’s are amazing. Very warm and welcoming! Bless their hearts. “The staff are lovely, the pool is heated and surrounded by beautiful greenery, the apartment is lovely with 2 bedrooms and an ensuite in each room. The linen is good quality and the beds are comfortable. The apartment has the most lovely feel thanks to the wall to ceiling windows and has a safety gate at the top of the stairs so is suitable for kids. The location is excellent for exploring the Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen museum, Ngong Hills, etc, etc, etc.”

“Lovely accommodation, the two bedrooms are separate cottages with a dining and sitting room cottage between them which has a fire place. Everything was clean and well styled and in the middle of a lush jungle feeling garden. I put my mom and her friend them who are visiting Kenya but I would book it as a staycation in future.”

“Very serene, beautiful place with a fantastic garden and pool. We had the appartement with 2 bedrooms and the big windows which was absolutely beautiful with a very large living arrea! If you like quiet, clean not touristic and comfortable and authentic, this is your place. We loved to go out for breakfast (tin roof café is so nice!) but it has a large kitchen also. The host is very responsive and helpful.”

“We loved the Airbnb . The rooms are well laid out, modern and clean. The pool is a little cold when you first go in but great after that. We were there in August and it was cold. Loved the hot tub and pickle ball. The staff were super helpful. Gideon the door man was very good at making sure we were in and out safely. If going again I would take an Uber from the airport which is a very simple process. To travel anywhere we used Ubers. I would really recommend this Airbnb”

“Nice big apartment. Very big and comfortable beds. Beautiful garden and vent very safe, nice guards. Best thing was the excellent jacuzzi on our roofed terrace. Apartment is fully equipped. Very quilted area at night. Several good restaurants and a big shopping mall 10 minutes away by Uber. Sidney is very kind and communicative.”

“Sidney’s place was amazing-from being greeted by Gideon to Moses starting fires for us in the evening, the entire experience was peaceful and relaxing-just what was needed. The pool, hot tub and pickleball courts were added bonuses to the atmosphere perfectly created by Sidney. We also enjoyed Happy and Ting Ting visiting our place. Would definitely stay again.”
